We designed our biodynamic, regeneratively farmed products not to be a be-all, end-all meal, but to serve as a filling boost of health-giving, delicious nutrition between or incorporated into breakfast, lunch, snack and dinner. And, that's exactly how we use them for Cameron and Keegan (our own kids!).
That's why we’re so excited to be partnering with Tiny Sprouts Foods, a children’s nutrition company focused on producing wholesome and functional organic superfood products for growing bodies. We are working together to bring you super easy and nutrient dense recipes, suitable for the whole family -- including babies from as early as their first bites.
Biodynamic Benefits -- With a Boost!
We're a match made in dietary heaven, if we say so ourselves. Our biodynamic, regeneratively farmed products are made *only* with ingredients grown according to highest international farming standards. This means the vegetables, fruits and grains within our blends (and the only ingredients included, at that) are grown in nutrient-dense soil that is never treated with the use of chemical pesticides, fertilizers or herbicides, and the process of growing them actually helps to regenerate the planet. Our products are grown and manufactured in harmony with the earth, and because of that, packed with the nutritional benefits only nature can provide.
While our products constitute the golden standard in purity and transparency, they also do not feature any added ingredients aside from our regeneratively farmed fruits, veggies and grains for that reason. That's why Tiny Sprout's range of Organic Superseed Boosters -- blends of cold-milled seeds and other superfoods -- can easily be added to boost nutritional content to support your child’s daily health needs, supplementing our products with more protein, fiber, fat and iron content with just a sprinkle.
Helping to give kids the very healthiest start
Like us, Tiny Sprouts Foods is focused on producing easy, convenient, nutrient-rich products that offer functional health benefits to the developing child. Their products are designed for children in collaboration with pediatric experts using all organic, non-gmo, and vegan ingredients with no added sugars, salts, preservatives or artificial flavors. All ingredients and final products are tested for heavy metals and microbrials to ensure optimum quality and safety.
They are also a small family-run company, founded by two BIPOC moms and long-time friends who understand the importance of good quality nutrition for young children and also the challenges with making such foods easily accessible and easy to consume. Their goal is to reduce mealtime stress, support picky eaters and help parents navigate children’s nutrition, enabling children to sprout, grow and thrive to their best potential. We highly recommend giving their Instagram a follow as well, which is full of creative, easy recipe content that only requires a few ingredients you probably already have in your pantry.
White Leaf x Tiny Sprouts Superfood Breakfast Bowl
We love to make this breakfast bowl for Cam each morning for daycare. All it takes is five minutes, and is created with our Pumpkin + Nectarine pouch and Tiny Sprout's Flaxseeds. Our Pumpkin + Nectarine blend is an ideal base, as it is low in sugar and high in Vitamin A, great natural immune support.
Just one serving of Tiny Sprouts' Flaxseeds + Vitamin D & Probiotics will boost your little one’s nutrition by providing the omega 3s, fiber and iron needed to help tiny brains and bodies grow big and strong. The addition of vitamin D & probiotics makes things easier on tiny stomach, helps build strong teeth & bones and strengthens immune health.
Ingredients (makes 2 servings)
- 1 cup oats
- 1 banana
- 1.5 tbs peanut butter (we love to get ours freshly ground at Whole Foods Market, or try zero added sugar/salt if purchased from store)
- 1 tsp cinnamon
- 1 tsp Tiny Sprouts Flaxseed
- 1 WLP Pumpkin + Nectarine Pouch
Add all ingredients to a blender and blitz until you achieve a smooth consistency; feel free to create texture of your choosing depending on your little's stage of development (i.e. thicker consistency for toddlers)
**Please always consult your pediatrician prior to introducing new ingredients as each baby is different, especially nuts (found in peanut butter in this case).
